The MB-6886-86 was originally designed for marine usage. It has been found to be an excellent choice for extensive use as a base station antenna The antenna is useable with Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) capable equipment for HF communications. Capable of operation over the1.8 to 30 MHz HF bands. Rated at 500 watts of RF Power. Capable of being taken apart for transporting in two sections when assembled the overall length is 35 foot total.
